Privacy: Cheetah & Dragon Learning
Last updated: November 2026
Cheetah & Dragon Learning is a learning app for children, paid for and managed by a parent or guardian. We collect as little as we can, we never show adverts, and we never sell information.
What we collect
- Parent account: your email address and a password. The password is stored in a protected (hashed) form, so we cannot read it.
- Children's profiles: a first name or nickname for each child (up to three). Please do not use a full name. Your child never needs an email address or an account of their own.
- Learning progress: scores, stars, words practised, settings and any homework you set, so that progress follows each child across devices.
- Waitlist (before launch): if you join the waitlist, your email address and, if you choose to add it, the ages of your children. We use it only to tell you when we launch, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Subscription details: whether your free trial or subscription is active, and the reference numbers Stripe gives us. We never see or store your card number.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for a child's email address, location, photos or school. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Who handles it for us
- Supabase stores accounts and progress.
- Stripe takes payment and runs the page where you manage or cancel your subscription.
- Netlify hosts the app.
- The app loads its fonts from Google Fonts when it first opens online.
- This service can read words out loud using your device's built-in voice, which happens on the device with nothing recorded or sent. In the Dragon stage, when you look up a word that is not in the built-in dictionary, that single word is sent to a free online dictionary (api.dictionaryapi.dev) so a meaning can be shown. No other information is sent.
These companies act on our behalf and may process data outside the UK with suitable safeguards. We do not share information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
On your device
The app keeps your sign-in and each child's progress in this browser (local storage) so it works offline. We do not use cookies for tracking.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. Removing a child in the grown-ups area deletes that child's profile. You can delete your account and everything linked to it at any time from the grown-ups area. This is permanent.
Your rights and contact
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. Email info@norymaconsulting.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
